Job 3

Job Speaks

1 After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth. 2 He said:

3 "May the day of my birth perish,
and the night it was said, 'A boy is born!'

4 That day—may it turn to darkness;
may God above not care about it;
may no light shine upon it.

11 "Why did I not perish at birth,
and die as I came from the womb?

12 Why were there knees to receive me
and breasts that I might be nursed?

16 Or why was I not hidden in the ground like a stillborn child,
like an infant who never saw the light of day?

23 Why is life given to a man
whose way is hidden,
whom God has hedged in?

24 For sighing comes to me instead of food;
my groans pour out like water.

25 What I feared has come upon me;
what I dreaded has happened to me.

26 I have no peace, no quietness;
I have no rest, but only turmoil."

And the unborn sings in unison.

Murder at the Alley

=================================================
At one time in my life, I thought of applying to the National Bureau of Investigation as an NBI agent. But then, I realized I will be carrying a gun if I become an agent. I was intimidated by that thought so I decided not to apply.

Anyway, I drew this in MS Paint.

The Diamond Alchemist

In my past life I was an alchemist. I tried to solve the world's problems using a metallic petri dish, a power supply and some compressed carbon gas.

Gone are the days when alchemists used to transmute gold from lead. I made diamond from thin air.

Run a large amount of current on a specific amount of carbon gas inside an air-tight vault and shout; "Let there be light!" And there will be light.

This is a glow discharge plasma.

Suck all the air inside the vault to create a vacuum. You were told, "Diamonds form in extreme pressure." But with the use of alchemy, we only need patience.

Expose a thin silicon wafer in your glow discharge and let it stay there for 24 hours. And Voila! You got yourself a thin film of diamond on the silicon wafer's surface.

This is diamond.
